What does Tsumami Kanzashi mean, you may ask... Tsumami means "to pinch", which refers to pinching of the fabric into the flower shape. Kanzashi means "hairpin", I don't think I need to explain that one. Nowadays, these lovely hair clips are won by brides, business women, and at Japanese ceremonies, and why does it have to stop there?
This hair ornament is made out orange and yellow large petals with small white petals inside of them. All folded by hand into a five petal flower. You can choose what type of clip you want and for which side of the head.
The tsumami kanzashi measurements average: 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 inches (8.9 x 8.9 x 2.5 cm)
